UTA - October 13, 2009 -
Uta came to us at 3.5 years old after being returned to her breeder by her original owners. She was leash aggressive and had difficulties with impulse control. After nearly a year in "Chill Ubu" classes at Performance Plus K9 Activity Center, she was able to begin her obedience career. Since then she has gone on to compete in nosework, obedience, and rally and started training in agility at the ripe old age of 8. She also dabbles in tricks, is attempting to learn the ins and outs of herding, and loves to swim and chase frisbees. She's had a few lessons in barn hunt, but has not yet competed. She has an obedience title from CDSP and her Beginner Novice and CD title from AKC and is working on her tracking title. She also has her Rally Novice, Intermediate, Advanced titles, and Excellent title, several tricks titles (Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced), some entry AKC agility titles (ACT 1&2) and a few NADAC agility titles, has been herding instinct tested, and has her NW1 and NW2 nosework titles with placements. Finally she has an AKC Achievers award and has qualified three times for AKC Rally Nationals, although did not compete in two of those. She may finally compete in 2021 at age 11! ACCOMPLISHMENTS
