A LITTER IS CONFIRMED & EXPECTED
IN LATE FEBRUARY 2020
BELL x ROGUE
We raise our puppies using Puppy Culture protocols that begin with early socialization activities and use the standard Volhard aptitude test to see what individual puppies need to work on prior to going to their new homes.
If you are interested in getting a puppy, please download the FREE guides on how to prepare for your new puppy by clicking the buttons below. If you would like to be considered for one of the puppies produced in the next litter, please fill out an application. An interview and visit to meet our dogs is required before anyone is approved for a puppy.
WHAT SHOULD YOU LOOK FOR WHEN SEEKING A PUPPY??
Make sure to look at what prospective breeders are testing for -- different breeds have different known genetic problems, many of which can be tested for to avoid producing affected puppies. Learn what tests are required by the parent club of the breed via OFA's Browse by Breed page. You can look up the parents of a litter on the OFA website to see if they have been tested and have received a "CHIC" certificate which indicates that the breeding dog has met all requirements of testing. In some cases, you may see a "cleared by parentage" status rather than an actual test number. What does "cleared by parentage" mean? Click here for an infographic from the PWD Foundation. For info on genetic testing and what being a "carrier" means, click here for another infographic from the PWD Foundation.
